Great to meet you!

I’m Dr. Cassandra Chambers, a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and the owner of Chambers of Change, LLC Counseling and Consulting Services. I am licensed in Louisiana, Texas, and Pennsylvania and have several years of experience working with individuals and families navigating emotional and relational challenges. I earned my doctorate in counseling and also serve as an Adjunct Professor in the Master’s of Arts in Counseling Psychology program at Yorkville University, where I help train future counselors.

In my practice, I work primarily with late adolescents, adults, couples, and families who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. My approach to counseling is warm, collaborative, and direct. I focus on creating a space where clients feel safe to talk openly while also helping them develop practical tools to manage emotions, improve communication, and build healthier patterns.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can truly be yourself—without judgment, pressure, or the feeling that you have to have everything figured out. My approach to counseling is warm, collaborative, and practical. I work alongside my clients to help them better understand what they’re experiencing while also building tools that support real, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a comfortable and welcoming space where you can begin to share what brings you to counseling. We will spend time getting to know each other, discussing what has been going on in your life, and identifying what you would like to work on in therapy. There is no pressure to have everything figured out—this is simply a starting point for understanding your experiences and goals. I may ask questions about different areas of your life to better understand how things have been impacting you. My role is to listen, support you, and begin helping you explore patterns, challenges, and strengths. Together, we will start identifying goals for our work and discuss what the counseling process may look like moving forward. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together.
