Great to meet you!

I am passionate about creating a space for people to explore their true self. I have witnessed people begin healing through connecting with self, even before I became a clinician. You deserve the space to heal.

I have been in the field of mental health and recovery for over 15 years and have experience in various clinical settings. I am trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (level 3) as well as Psychedelic Harm Reduction and Integration.

My work is with adults 18 and over suffering from depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship issues, and substance use disorders.

My approach to therapy

My approach to treatment is collaborative and driven by your goals. Do you feel crippled by self doubt and fear of judgement? My goal is to help you reconnect with your inner wisdom and to trust yourself, which looks different for each person. I most often draw from evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and Gottman Method.

What you can expect from me

Because you are the expert in your own life, I will take time to get to you know and what you've been through. The first session will be the intake, a bit different and more structured. I will ask questions to learn about your background and experiences. Sessions following are driven by you and what you’d like to work on. This is where you begin to process difficult emotions, thoughts, and behaviors that don't serve you, at your own pace.

People have described my style as compassionate but irreverent, solution focused, and warm. I appreciate people's humor in session. As I get to know you, you might notice what a colleague described of my style "has a funny bone but knows when it's business". Sometimes there is levity even in the really hard stuff. No matter what you’re going through or why, the feeling of being stuck and without options leads to feeling alone. You are not alone. In session you will have the space to explore, and I will be your guide in making sense of your experiences.
