Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Cecelia.

Choosing a mental health provider is a personal decision, and I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported from our very first meeting.

Before becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I spent more than 20 years as a registered nurse in cardiac care. I later moved into nursing leadership, where I gained valuable experience guiding teams, supporting patients and families, and navigating complex healthcare needs. While I enjoyed every stage of my nursing career, I found my true passion in psychiatry because I genuinely enjoy connecting with people and helping them improve their quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is centered on listening first. I believe that every person has a unique story, and healing begins when someone feels safe enough to share it. During our sessions, I take the time to understand your experiences, concerns, and goals without judgment. Together, we'll develop a treatment plan that fits your individual needs, whether that includes medication management, supportive therapy, education, or lifestyle strategies.

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD, trauma-related symptoms, and other mental health challenges. My goal is not only to help reduce symptoms but also to empower you to build lasting wellness and confidence.

What you can expect from me

I view our relationship as a partnership. We'll celebrate your progress, work through challenges together, and adjust your treatment as your needs evolve. My hope is to walk alongside you throughout your journey and help you achieve the goals that matter most to you.

Seeking help takes courage, and you don't have to do it alone. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you every step of the way.
