Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP), I believe that prioritizing mental health is essential to building a stable, fulfilling, and meaningful life. Taking the step to seek support is not always easy, and it speaks to your strength and willingness to create change.

I have over 10 years of experience working with co-occurring disorders, supporting individuals navigating both mental health and substance use challenges. My approach is compassionate, practical, and focused on helping you build the skills, insight, and resilience needed to move forward with greater confidence and stability.

My approach to therapy

Everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. Once we decide to work together, we’ll act as partners in your therapeutic journey, collaborating in a way that feels supportive, respectful, and aligned with your goals. Open communication is very important to me, and I want you to feel heard, valued, and understood throughout our work together.

I will be there to listen, gently challenge you when helpful, and support you as you move toward meaningful growth and change. I also recognize the unique challenges faced by the LGBTQIA2S+ community and am committed to providing a secure, inclusive, and nonjudgmental environment. My goal is to support you in showing up authentically and building a life that feels true to who you are.

What you can expect from me

I always begin with an introductory session where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. This first step helps us build a strong foundation and understand how to best support you moving forward.

I will walk alongside you on this healing journey, offering support, empowerment, and opportunities for self-discovery as you work toward greater emotional well-being. I show up ready to meet you where you are—whether that means learning coping skills, sharing a laugh, holding space for difficult emotions, or simply giving you room to vent.
