Great to meet you!

My name is Charity Midy. I am a graduate of The University of Texas at Arlington where I earned a Master of Social Work Degree. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Enhancing Esteem Counseling, PLLC in the State of Texas. My practice helps adults handle stressful life events, negative self-talk, low self-esteem, anxiety and depression by providing a safe, nonjudgmental space to heal.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is supportive and person centered. The goal is to identify and change negative emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. This is accomplished using cognitive behavioral, mindfulness-based, solution and compassion focused therapies.

What you can expect from our first session

I am here for the “strong ones” of the families and friend groups. I would love to be a part of your journey to healing and enhancing esteem.
