For over 25 years, I've had the privilege of counseling adult individuals and couples with relationship issues, sex addiction, anxiety, and depression. I received my MA in Counseling at Colorado Christian University under Dr. Larry Crabb. I'm an avid reader, always seeking to improve my counseling skills and my own, personal transformation. The Enneagram has been a helpful tool for me in that regard. Clients often tell me that my warmth and kindness help them feel immediately safe with me.

We’ll use the first session to gain an understanding of what is troubling you and what you’ve tried to gain relief. I've found the concepts of ACT, Internal Family Systems, and Restoration Therapy (RT) to be particularly helpful to clients. In RT we identify your pain cycle and help you create a peace cycle. I often assign homework, like reading or journaling, which helps me understand your personal story.

Ultimately, progress is determined by you, but I think of it as including a feeling of peace, an ability to defuse anxious thoughts, and less emotional reactivity. I create a warm, friendly environment where you'll feel comfortable talking about what is troubling you.
