Great to meet you!

As a somatic trauma therapist, I integrate body-based awareness with evidence-based approaches including Brainspotting and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). These therapies can help process traumatic experiences, reduce emotional overwhelm, and release trauma and stress that may feel stuck in the body's nervous system. Together, we'll move at a pace that feels right for you while honoring your unique experiences and building on your strengths along the way.

My approach to therapy

I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the lasting impact of difficult and traumatic experiences. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or ready for something to change, therapy can be a place to deepen your own self-understanding, restore a sense of safety, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I take a warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth approach to therapy. I believe healing happens in the context of a trusting relationship. Rather than focusing only on talking about what happened, I help clients connect with their body's natural capacity to heal and build resilience.

I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, sex-positive, poly/non-traditional relationship affirming, disability affirming, and do my best to curate a safe space when working with all racial and cultural identities.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll focus on getting to know each other and building a sense of safety and trust. I'll spend time learning about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any experiences that feel important to share. There is no pressure to tell your entire story right away. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

As a somatic trauma therapist, I'll also help you begin noticing how your nervous system responds to stress and introduce simple body-based tools to support grounding and regulation. Together, we'll discuss a treatment plan that may include Brainspotting or EMDR when the time feels right. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of how we'll work together on your healing journey.
