Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Cheryl Cox, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana (LCSW) and an Independent Licensed Social Worker in Ohio (LISW). I have treated individuals seeking therapy for over 14 years, in-home, in-person within medical clinics, private practice and recently via online therapy for approximately 3 years.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I feel that I have quite a down to earth approach and I take great strides in meeting you where you currently are regarding your present circumstances, situation, strengths and challenges. I also feel that humor is important in developing rapport, and I very much enjoy adding a little levity, when appropriate.

Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice.

What you can expect from our first session

In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hang-ups and habits holding you back.
