Great to meet you!

I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida as well as a qualified supervisor for mental health counselor interns. I have over ten years of experience working with adults, children, and families who are experiencing multiple stressors including mental health challenges (anxiety/depression/bi-polar, etc.), child welfare, relationship-related issues, domestic violence survivors, and parenting issues.

My approach to therapy

I know choosing to start therapy is a big decision, and it can feel a little scary. My aim is to help you feel comfortable and safe in therapy, and I'll be there with you every step of the way. It would be my pleasure to guide and support you on your counseling journey. Let's work together to get your "oxygen mask" properly secured so you can help yourself first to get what you want/need/deserve from your life.

What you can expect from me

If you're looking for a positive experience while working towards your goals, then Oaks Family Counseling is the place for you. Let us partner with you, knowing that someone is here for you, offering practical strategies for your consideration, advocating for you, and encouraging you to achieve your goals.
