Great to meet you!

For the past 23 years, I have developed an array of skills working with diverse populations such as: children, adults, correctional population, probationers/parolees (returning citizens), substance use population, and the Aged population. I gained my clinical experience from working with clients in a multitude of clinical domains, to include: hospitals, private practices, community, outpatient, inpatient, residential, behavioral health, and correctional settings.

My approach to therapy

I utilize an integrative approach that focuses on the use of cognitive behavioral, person-centered, and solution focused approaches to counseling and therapy, delivered in an empathetic, compassionate, non-judgmental manner. I assist individuals in developing effective coping skills, increasing their self-esteem, and gaining a greater self-awareness to help you resolve life’s challenges. I specialize in providing comprehensive assessments and providing services to individuals experiencing difficulties in managing stress and anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and legal system involvement.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to provide an open and safe space for my clients, where they are supported and where self-exploration and personal growth are encouraged. We will work together to address areas of client concern, in order to achieve an overall improvement in the client’s spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental health wellness. I’m compassionate about making the therapeutic experience inclusive, collaborative, and hope-filled. I welcome the opportunity to embark upon this therapeutic journey with you!
