Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Chin, and I’m glad you’re here.

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care to adults navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and life transitions. I specialize in treating diverse populations, including individuals from multicultural backgrounds, and bring over a decade of experience as a psychiatric nurse into my work as a provider.

As someone deeply committed to mental wellness and equity in healthcare, I also draw on cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed care in all aspects of my practice. I understand how hard it can be to seek help, and I honor your courage in taking that step.

Let’s work together to help you feel more grounded, hopeful, and connected. I look forward to supporting you on your path to healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and holistic. I believe in seeing the whole person—not just a diagnosis—and I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. Whether you’re new to mental health treatment or returning after a break, I’ll meet you where you are and tailor a treatment plan that aligns with your goals and values. I offer both medication management and supportive psychotherapy, and I work closely with you to ensure your care feels personalized, effective, and empowering.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, you can expect a safe, supportive space where you’ll feel heard and respected. I take a compassionate, collaborative approach—this means we’ll work together to understand what you’re going through, set goals that matter to you, and create a treatment plan that fits your life.

My role is to support you in gaining insight, managing symptoms, and building tools you can use beyond our sessions. Whether we’re exploring emotional patterns, adjusting medication, or simply talking through what’s on your mind, I want you to leave each session feeling more grounded, empowered, and connected to yourself.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to start. Just showing up is a strong first step—and I’ll meet you right where you are.
