Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Christie. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist currently working with UCLA Health, where I support children, teens, and adults in creating meaningful, lasting change.

I use mindfulness and evidence-based practices to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns, so you can feel more in control and confident in your daily life. I am also trained in EMDR, which is a highly effective treatment for processing trauma and reducing emotional distress, allowing you to move forward without feeling stuck by painful memories.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I believe therapy should feel supportive and, also, effective. Together, we’ll identify what’s not working, clarify your goals, and actively build the tools and insight needed to help you get there.

Clients often share that they appreciate having a space that feels both compassionate and productive, where they are heard and also challenged and supported in making real progress. My goal is to help you feel better, function more effectively, and ultimately create a life that feels more aligned, balanced, and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and talk about what’s bringing you in. We’ll explore your goals, what you’d like to see change, and begin identifying a path forward.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel both supported and productive. You don’t have to have everything figured out, we’ll go at your pace.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of direction of how we can work together using effective therapeutic approaches.
