Great to meet you!

Welcome (Bienvendo(a)(x)...I am a Bilingual Spanish-speaking Certified EMDR Marriage & Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience. I am deeply committed to providing culturally responsive, affirming care for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ folks. I help clients with: Trauma, PTSD, childhood trauma and attachment wounds, anxiety and nervous system dysregulation, identity-related stress, trauma related to discrimination, violence, or marginalization, shame and self doubt. If you are interested in therapy with someone from the 'neighborhood'- 1st generation, family struggles, finding your voice and pride in your culture, please contact me.

My approach to therapy

As a certified EMDR therapist, I am here to help you heal trauma at its root. EMDR allows the brain and nervous system to process painful experiences so they no longer feel overwhelming or defining. My approach is warm, straightforward, and grounded so you can start doing the work at your own pace toward lasting relief and greater emotional regulation.

What you can expect from me

As we work in therapy, you may notice: improved sleep; feeling safer in your body; less anxiety; increased joy in day to day life; less anger or sadness; easier decision making about your life goals or transitions; improved boundaries in your relationships; increased understanding of ways you may sabotage yourself and get out of your own way. Hablo Español.
