Christopher Gelinas

I specialize in therapy with children, adolescents, and young adults/college aged. I have a solo private practice and can see clients in person in Fort Lauderdale, FL or through telehealth.

*All in person appts must be scheduled directly through me to ensure availability.

Independently licensed LMHC RI and FL.

I am a certified attention deficit consultant (ADC-C) and also a certified grief counselor (GC-C) through the American Institute of Health Care Professionals (AIHCP.)

I enjoy getting to know my clients and building trust through kindness, compassion, and patience. I try to incorporate humor while being supportive but also giving strategies, psychoeducation, and sometimes just a listening ear.

I enjoy providing psychoeducation related to issues that clients are dealing with. I also work collaboratively with clients to brainstorm creative approaches to problems and situations.
