Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified psychiatrist with a strong foundation in talk therapy, performance coaching, and medication management. I trained in general psychiatry and completed a fellowship in forensic psychiatry, which means I’ve studied how the mind works—not just in illness, but in everyday decision-making, stress, relationships, and life performance.

I primarily work with high-achieving professionals—people who are outwardly “holding it together” but inwardly stretched thin by burnout, anxiety, or perfectionism. Many of my clients feel misunderstood in traditional mental health settings because their struggles don’t always look like a crisis—but that doesn’t mean they’re not suffering.

I’m also passionate about culturally competent care, particularly for Black, LGBTQ+, and other marginalized communities. Everyone deserves care that sees the full picture of who they are—not just a diagnosis.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is warm, direct, and rooted in collaboration. I believe in cutting through the noise to get to what actually matters. I do NOT practice using medications alone. I lean into therapeutic conversation with psychiatric expertise to help people understand why they think, feel, or behave the way they do—and how to shift it.

Medication may be a tool, but it’s never the only tool. We’ll talk. We’ll strategize. We’ll work toward alignment—between who you are and how you live. I’m not here to just manage symptoms; I’m here to help you feel like yourself again (or maybe for the first time).

What you can expect from our first session

Clarity. Insight. And a deeper understanding of yourself.

You’ll leave our sessions not just knowing what you feel, but why. And once we find the why, we can get to work—making intentional changes, rewiring your beliefs, improving performance, and reducing stress.

My goal is always to help you function at your highest level—without losing yourself in the process.
