Great to meet you!

I am independently licensed in Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, North Carolina, and Colorado. My clinical experience includes inpatient psychiatric, and intensive outpatient levels of care and emergency department psychiatric consultation. I take additional interest in elite athletics and associated stressors including but not limited to, conflict resolution, leadership, body image and perfectionism, navigating injury and chronic pain, substance use, managing performance anxiety, and the adjustment/transition into and out of athletics.

I received a certificate in Sport Social Work from the University of Michigan in 2024. Additionally, I received both Basic and Supplemental training in Collaborative Problem Solving through Massachusetts General Hospital. I am also nationally certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) from the Center for Traumatic Stress in Children and Adolescents.

My approach to therapy

I provide cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to adolescents and adults presenting with brief and ongoing mental health concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, addiction, transitional and crisis-related stress. CBT is an evidenced based approach supporting those in identifying and implementing effective change through the identification and restructuring of distorted thought patterns to elicit more adaptive thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

What you can expect from me

My clinical approach is structured and focused on measurable change within a defined treatment window. I place emphasis on clear goal setting, targeted intervention, and coordination of care with community providers when appropriate. I regularly incorporate diagnostic and outcome-based tools to inform and adapt treatment to the evolving needs of each client.

I am happy to consider appropriate step down referrals from inpatient level of care, with a consultation call prior to discharge.
