Great to meet you!

Dr. Claire Tiglao, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 11 years of experience in community mental health and outpatient psychiatry, specializing in the treatment of adult and geriatric populations. She provides compassionate, comprehensive care for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, eating disorders, and sleep disorders. Her goal is for each patient to feel truly heard, respected, and supported while equipping them with the tools to thrive beyond the clinical setting.

My approach to therapy

Guided by a holistic, warm, and empowering approach, she blends evidence-based psychiatric treatment with an emphasis on the whole person-mind, body, and lifestyle. She partners with each patient to create individualized care plans that foster self-awareness, resilience, and long-term wellness. Passionate about building a safe and non-judgmental space, she is dedicated to helping clients feel heard, understood, and supported as they work toward their mental health goals. The key principles of her practice include holistic assessment, collaborative partnership, evidence-based interventions, warm and empowering communication, continuity and flexibility, and focusing on a person’s strengths and resilience.

What you can expect from me

After each session, you can expect a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where your experiences are heard and your goals matter. Together, we will explore your concerns, identify strengths, and develop a tailored treatment plan that may include medication management, therapeutic strategies, and lifestyle recommendations. By working with me, clients often take away clarity and understanding about their symptoms, triggers, and treatment options. They will learn practical coping skills to manage anxiety, mood changes, or other challenges in daily life. They will notice improved confidence in making decisions about their mental health and well-being. They will be equipped with personalized strategies for better sleep, focus, and emotional balance. They will have a sense of empowerment to create meaningful changes and sustain long-term wellness. My goal is that you'll leave each session feeling supported, informed, and more capable of restoring your quality of life.
