Great to meet you!

Dr. Haas graduated from Wheaton College and has more than 27 years of diverse experience. She currently counsels children as young as 6, adolescents, and adults within individual, family, and marital therapy. Dr. Haas approaches her work with an eclectic blend of cognitive-behavioral, family systems, and client-centered methods.

My approach to therapy

Before joining Heritage Professional Associates, Dr. Haas worked at a faith based mental health clinic, offering therapeutic interventions based on a Christian worldview. She feels called to help individuals explore faith issues from different traditions and to also help families support children identifying as LGBTQ.

What you can expect from me

Dr. Haas especially enjoys working with adolescent girls and emerging adults, helping them navigate the choppy waters of individuation and developing a unique sense of self. She also appreciates the transitions of later adulthood and has come alongside retired clients who want to explore a deeper sense of integrity. Her youngest clients include children struggling with OCD and problems related to being neurodivergent. She also has personal experience with the struggles of acculturation and single parent households.
