Colleen Colbert

I am a licensed psychologist who has practices in New York State both upstate and in the metropolitan New York area for many years and in Rhode Island for some time. I also have graduate degrees in the field of education and have been a teacher prior to my years as a therapist. My practice includes expertise in a wide variety of areas and ages including adults and have a special interest in marital work and couples sessions.

I work with an interpersonal, goal-focused approach utilizing cognitive behavioral strategies when appropriate.

My treatment encourages clients to develop their best qualities and improve on areas which need to be strengthened, focusing on self-understanding, mindfulness and self-fulfillment.
