Great to meet you!

Your teen is moody or shutting down. Your younger child is having big behaviors you don’t know how to handle. And you? You’re overstimulated, touched out, and one minor inconvenience away from losing it. You’re trying to be calm and present... while running on empty.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) clinician with nearly a decade of experience in pediatric emergency and trauma settings. I work with adults, parents, and teens navigating burnout, anxiety, and big emotions. I’m trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), helping parents reduce chaos, strengthen connection, and actually get through those impossible moments.

Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, and a little direct. We’ll untangle patterns, build regulation skills that actually hold up outside session, and challenge the narratives keeping you stuck. You don’t need to be fixed—you need space, support, and strategies that work in real life.

And for the former angsty teens who grew up and now have angsty teens of their own—yeah, I see you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is shaped by years in high-stress medical settings, where grief, chaos, and panic were just part of the daily norm. That work taught me this: stress and trauma don’t just live in your thoughts—they live in your body, in your relationships, and in the survival hacks you picked up to get through it all.

In our work together, we’ll notice the patterns your system developed to cope. Maybe you overdo it. Maybe you shut down. Maybe you’re constantly bracing for the next thing to go wrong. Those responses made sense once—now they just leave you drained.

I draw from PCIT, IPT, CBT, trauma-informed therapy, and my PMH-C training to help you finally make sense of the stories you’ve been carrying—and give your body and nervous system the space to actually absorb that insight.

We move at a pace that feels steady, building awareness and tools that actually work in real life. No platitudes. No pretending. Just real support you can use when everything else is falling apart.

What you can expect from me

Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who are simply tired of carrying so much alone. Therapy becomes a place where you don’t have to manage anyone else’s expectations—not even mine.

You can expect warmth, honesty, and thoughtful feedback. If I notice a pattern, I’ll gently reflect it. If something feels stuck, we’ll explore it together. This is collaborative work—structured but human.

Over time, clients often notice more space between a trigger and a reaction. They begin to respond with intention instead of impulse. They trust their own perceptions more. They feel less defined by anxiety, guilt, or burnout.

The goal isn’t to eliminate stress. It’s to help you feel more anchored within it. So when life shifts—and it will—you’re not fighting yourself. You’re steady enough to move through it with clarity and self-trust.
