Great to meet you!

I have been in the field of social work for over 15 years. I hold a BA in Psychology and a Master of Science in Social Administration (MSSA), both from Case Western Reserve University. I am currently licensed as an LISW in the state of Ohio. My experience includes working with children and adolescents, as well as many adult clients managing anxiety and depression. I also specialize in couples therapy — including premarital, marital, and divorce counseling. I take pride in serving clients from all backgrounds. I value diversity and am committed to supporting people from all walks of life on their journey toward healing and growth

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is open-minded, supportive, sometimes infused with humor, and always solution-focused. I want clients to feel safe enough to vent, cry, be angry—whatever they need in the moment—knowing it’s a judgment-free zone. At the same time, we’ll also work together on finding real solutions. I place a strong emphasis on psychoeducation, because I believe you have to be able to name what you’re dealing with in order to tame it. I make sure clients understand their diagnosis and the interventions we use so they feel empowered and equipped to reach their goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to make sure you feel safe, comfortable, and able to be yourself. I want you to have a space where you can talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. That first session is really about us getting to know each other, building trust, and starting a partnership. We’ll talk through your goals, what brought you here, and start shaping a plan that makes sense for you. Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling supported, heard, and confident that you don’t have to do this work alone
