Crystal Harper

Hello and welcome. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC). I received my BA in Psychology in 2000, MS in Psychology - Psychometrics (psychological testing and assessment) in 2002, and my MS in Counseling - Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2023.

I specialize in substance use disorder (drug and alcohol addiction), mood disorders, anxiety disorder, divorce, single parenting, and life transitions. I also have experience working with people who have neurodivergent or developmentally delayed diagnoses and supporting parents of children with these diagnoses.

My philosophy is to partner with my client to help identify their issues or concerns, develop therapeutic goals, and support them to improve their overall mental well-being and quality of life. I believe therapy is effective and life-changing when a client is committed to personal growth and transformation.

I offer Christian based counseling when the client chooses to have spirituality integrated into therapy. This option is client led and supports their personal beliefs.

I primarily use the following therapy approaches: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy.
