Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychologist (PsyD) working with adults and young adults, with particular expertise in university mental health. My practice focuses on treating depression, anxiety, relationship issues, ADHD-related concerns, and life transitions from a trauma-informed stance.

I offer an open-ended, exploratory, yet reasonably structured space where we can address your specific concerns and long-standing patterns that shape the way you see yourself and others. My goal is to offer the support and clinical expertise necessary for you to navigate your current challenges at a pace that feels right to you.

My approach to therapy

I use psychodynamic and relational therapy, integrating cognitive behavioral and solution-focused approaches as needed. I value open communication and believe the quality of the therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a structured intake designed to gather a broad understanding of your history, current life circumstances, and what you hope to gain from therapy. It is thorough, but should not be overwhelming.

We’ll begin by discussing the nature of the evaluation and psychotherapy, risks and benefits, confidentiality, and practice policies so that you can make informed decisions about your care.

Then, we’ll move into discussing what you’re seeking therapy for, and I will ask specific questions that help me provide you with the best possible recommendations. By the end, we’ll work together to come up with a plan that feels right to you.

Subsequent sessions are less structured and focus more deeply on the work itself. This initial session provides a roadmap for that.
