Great to meet you!

With more than 25 years of experience in behavioral health, I specialize in working with professional women, caregivers, and healthcare professionals who are navigating burnout, life transitions, anxiety, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and substance use recovery. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a background in substance use treatment, military social work, and medical social work with the Department of Veterans Affairs, I bring both clinical expertise and genuine lived experience to our work together.

I know firsthand how easy it is for women to lose themselves in the demands of work and family. As a retired VA social work supervisor, breast cancer survivor, and someone who has navigated burnout while caring for others, I bring deep empathy to every session — not just training. I provide virtual therapy, so you can access support from wherever feels most comfortable.

My approach to therapy

I use a warm, collaborative, and strengths-based approach that meets you where you are. I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness techniques, and psychoeducation to help you gain insight, build healthier coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. I'm direct but compassionate. Therapy with me is a safe, judgment-free space where you'll feel heard and respected while also being gently challenged to grow.

I believe therapy isn't about fixing what's "wrong" with you. It's about helping you reconnect with your strengths, establish healthy boundaries, and build a life that aligns with your values. My goal is to help you move from surviving to living with intention, peace, and confidence.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about connection and clarity. We'll take time to get to know each other. I'll listen to what's brought you to therapy, learn about your goals, and begin to understand what support looks like for you. There's no pressure to have everything figured out before we start. I'll ask questions to help us map out where you are and where you want to go, and together we'll begin building a path forward. You should leave that first session feeling heard, respected, and with a sense of what our work together can look like.
