Great to meet you!

Life can be a rollercoaster of events and emotions, and therapy serves as a vital support system to navigate these challenges. As a person-centered therapist, I prioritize creating a safe and accepting environment where clients can self-explore and grow.

I believe in collaborating to identify struggles, define goals, and leverage client’s strengths to achieve those objectives. With a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling, a Bachelor of Arts with emphasis in Social Work, and an Associate Degree of Science in Human Services, I strive to provide ethical and compassionate care.

My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds, which enriched my understanding of generational complexities. I approach sessions with genuineness, compassion, curiosity, and humor.

My approach to therapy

I take a client-centered approach to therapy, tailoring interventions to meet each individual's unique needs. When appropriate, I incorporate Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and psychoeducation to empower clients in achieving their goals, all while maintaining a trauma-informed perspective.

What you can expect from me

I focus on facilitating a client’s journey rather than offering direct advice. I believe clients are the experts in their own lives and with my guidance, they will figure out what the best next step is for them.
