Great to meet you!

I believe healing begins in a safe and supportive relationship. My approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness. I support individuals facing relationship difficulties, grief and loss, workplace stress, and life transitions across the lifespan. As a Christian counselor, I welcome the opportunity to incorporate faith and spiritual values into our work if that is important to you. I also offer counseling in Cantonese, honoring both cultural and linguistic needs.

My approach to therapy

I create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. Together, we'll explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and develop practical strategies to achieve your personal goals and improve overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. We’ll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brought you to therapy, including your current concerns, symptoms, and treatment goals. I’ll also ask about relevant background information to better understand your experiences and strengths.

Together, we’ll begin identifying what you hope to gain from therapy and discuss how Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness techniques may support your needs. The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share any preferences, and determine whether my approach feels like a good fit for you. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and more hopeful about the path forward.
