Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Dr. Dally Rios Ortega, and I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Florida with more than 15 years of experience in the field. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with adults, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings, including private practice, community clinics, and telehealth.

My work focuses on helping people manage anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I also enjoy supporting clients who are looking to strengthen their self-esteem, improve coping skills, or simply gain a deeper understanding of themselves.

Most importantly, I want my clients to feel safe, respected, and truly heard. My goal is to provide a space where you can share openly, explore challenges, and feel supported as you move toward the life you want to create.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy with warmth, compassion, and collaboration. My style blends evidence-based methods, such as cognitive-behavioral strategies and mindfulness, with an understanding that each person’s journey is unique. I see therapy as a partnership where we work together to identify your goals and build practical tools to support lasting growth and change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, my focus is on getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, your personal history, and what you would like to achieve in our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, but I also encourage you to share at your own pace, there’s no pressure to tell your whole story at once.

This session is also a chance for you to get a sense of my style and to ask me any questions about therapy. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and discuss what approaches may be most helpful for you. My priority is to create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where you feel comfortable and heard.

Most clients leave the first session with a clearer idea of how therapy can support them, along with some initial steps or strategies to start putting into practice.
