Great to meet you!

You might be feeling emotionally drained from constantly trying to hold everything together while quietly struggling underneath the surface. Anxiety, grief, family stress, or unresolved emotional pain can make it difficult to feel at peace with yourself or fully connected in your relationships. Over time, it can feel exhausting trying to care for everyone else while losing sight of your own needs, boundaries, and well-being. You don’t have to navigate that alone. Therapy can be a space where you feel supported, understood, and able to reconnect with yourself in a healthier and more grounded way.

My approach to therapy

I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors through individual and family therapy, supporting concerns such as anxiety, grief and loss, stress management, trauma, family dynamics, and major life transitions. I also specialize in adoption-competent therapy, supporting adopted persons, birth and adoptive parents, siblings, and extended family members navigating identity, attachment, reunion experiences, and complex family dynamics related to adoption. With more than 20 years of experience, my approach is compassionate, relational, and evidence-based, drawing from Attachment-Based Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, behavior modification, and strength-based approaches to help clients build insight, emotional resilience, and healthier relational patterns.

What you can expect from me

Therapy with me is supportive, thoughtful, and centered on helping you feel safe enough to openly process what you’ve been carrying. I believe healing happens through stronger self-awareness, healthier boundaries, and learning how to move through life with greater peace and self-compassion. Together, we’ll work toward helping you better understand your experiences, strengthen your coping tools, and create more fulfilling and connected relationships moving forward.
