Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Dana Ferry, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist. I have found for myself an incredible benefit in scientifically proven healing therapies such as meditation and EMDR to treat trauma. This is why I went back to school, so I could study for myself the science of healing and help others heal as well. I typically work with clients going through daily challenges needing a safe place to process difficult life experiences, gain closure and find a healing path forward.

My approach to therapy

There is so much more we know today about the long-term affects of anxiety, stress and trauma on the brain. Even better, we know the incredible healing affects from finding a safe place to be understood and seen without the fear of judgment. I fully believe in meeting the client where they are and in adapting to them in ways that are comfortable and beneficial. My communication style is casual and open. I see my role as walking along side clients on the path of healing not directing it.

What you can expect from me

I believe in personal choice and truly trust we have the answers within us, we just need the space to explore it. Structure is important to the process but I adapt my approach to each client’s personality to help guide the process.
