Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping individuals find stability, purpose, and confidence in their lives. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University and have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating challenges such as ADHD, anger management, and substance use disorders.

In addition to my clinical work, I serve as the Director of a nonprofit organization that provides housing and support for adults in recovery from mental health and substance use issues. This experience has deepened my understanding of how complex life circumstances, environment, and support systems impact lasting change.

I also sit on the Board of the Garden State Association of Recovery Residences (GSARR), where I advocate for ethical standards and quality care across recovery housing programs.

As a therapist, I take a direct, supportive, and solution-focused approach, aiming to meet clients where they are and empower them to build practical tools for growth and self-understanding. My goal is to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and equipped to make meaningful progress toward their goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is direct, collaborative, and solution-focused. I believe that change happens when clients feel both supported and challenged to see themselves and their situations more clearly. Together, we identify the patterns, behaviors, and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical strategies to create meaningful change.

I draw from a range of evidence-based practices—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-Based techniques—while tailoring each session to your individual needs, strengths, and goals.

I view therapy as a partnership where you set the pace. My role is to provide guidance, honest feedback, and tools to help you build insight, manage emotions effectively, and move toward the life you want. The focus is always on helping you gain confidence, clarity, and control over your path forward.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a comfortable and conversational environment where we focus on getting to know each other and identifying what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your background, current challenges, and goals so we can begin to form a clear understanding of what you’d like to work on.

We’ll also discuss what therapy looks like, how sessions are structured, what approaches I may use, and what you can expect from me as your therapist. My goal is to ensure you leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and supported, with a sense of direction and next steps.

Most importantly, the first session is about building trust and creating a safe space where you can be open and honest without judgment. From there, we’ll develop a plan tailored to your specific needs and start working toward meaningful progress.
