Great to meet you!

Over the past decade, I have worked in a private practice social work setting, supporting families with neurodivergent children. Earlier in my career as a special education teacher, I developed a deep understanding of how learning, behavior, and emotional needs intersect in school and home environments.

This background allows me to bridge therapy and education in practical ways, including helping families understand, review, and strengthen individualized education plans (IEPs). My combined experience in both classroom and clinical settings has shaped my expertise in neurodiversity and family-centered care, and helps me provide support that is both compassionate and actionable.

My approach to therapy

Because neurodivergence is unique to each individual, I approach every person without preconceived expectations. My goal is to understand who you are, how you experience the world, and what strengths you already bring to the table.

Together, we identify and build on those strengths to help you navigate challenges and reach your personal goals. Each therapy experience is tailored to your specific needs.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Reality Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to support meaningful growth and self-understanding.

My primary focus is working with individuals with autism, ADHD, sensory processing challenges, and behavioral concerns. I also support children and adults navigating life transitions, men’s issues, and parent–child relationships.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. We will move at your pace, and there is no pressure to share more than you are ready for.

I will ask questions to better understand how you experience life, including your values, goals, strengths, and challenges. My inquisitive, non-judgmental approach is designed to create a safe space where you can be yourself.

Together, we will begin identifying what matters most to you and how therapy can support you moving forward.
