I did not do the typical medicine path but rather took a detour including life by traveling the world. As a result, picked up a few things along the way. Aslo being active duty military before joinng the reserves, allows me a different perspective on things.
I do believe that when something goes wrong, it is best to take a deep dive into behavior and lifestyle first, as the body has the ability to heal when given the opportunity. Medication do have its place but only as a last resort. Optimizing a few pilars of good health will send ripple effect throughout life.
It is important to seek professional help as you exhaust your options. But equally important is what they do at home or on a dialy basis to help yourself.
