Great to meet you!

I would like to take a minute and introduce myself. I graduated with my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from University of Phoenix in 2010. Since that time I have worked with families, adolescents and couples through private practice, the school system and through the Juvenile Court. Life can be difficult at times, sometimes in life we feel lost, disconnected from the things and people that have brought us fulfilment in life. I believe that life should be lived to its fullest. Sometimes hard things get in the way and we need a little help to get back on track. I have dedicated my life to the mental health needs of my clients. Whether it is metal, emotional or spiritual struggles, I have a passion for helping my clients develop skills that will help them enjoy a happy, healthy and fulfilling life. Whether it’s individual, family or couples I enjoy helping my clients navigate through life’s trials.

A few of the modalities that I specialize in using are: CBT(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) TFCBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and EFT for couples (Emotionally Focused Therapy)

My approach to therapy

I work diligently in creating a safe space for all clients. I am committed to bring a non judgmental approach where growth, learning and self reflection can take place. I specialize in working with children ages 9-12, adolescents, and adults. In addition I have done extensive work with adolescents, families and couples to help improve relationship related issues, and improve communication. I also specialize in working with adolescents and their parents to improve communication, restore trust and improve the overall home environment.

What you can expect from me

Change is never easy. I know that starting therapy can seem like a stressful and daunting task. I believe in making every effort to ensure that my clients feel heard, supported and validated while they move towards healing and reaching their full potential. We will work together to set and reach goals that are important to your happiness. I work hard to help promote hope, support and guidance as we work through trials in your life.
