Great to meet you!

I currently have immediate openings—no need to wait weeks or months to get started.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over 27 years of experience working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, substance use, and major life transitions. I’m also a DBT-certified clinician.

My approach is practical, structured, and direct. I use evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), solution-focused strategies, and Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP). The focus is on clear goals, real-world tools, and steady progress—not endless processing.

Clients often describe me as calm, grounded, and straightforward. My role is to help you stabilize, gain insight, and build skills you can actually use in daily life.

If you’re ready to get started, reach out—I’ll respond.

My approach to therapy

My approach is practical, structured, and focused on real change. I don’t believe therapy should feel vague or endless. We identify what’s actually causing problems, set clear goals, and work toward measurable progress. I use evidence-based tools like CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused strategies, but I apply them in a grounded, real-world way—not textbook therapy.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect clarity and direction. We’ll focus on what brought you in, what’s not working, and what you want to be different. I’ll ask focused questions to understand patterns, stressors, and how you’re functioning day to day—without dragging you through unnecessary history. This is not a “tell me everything since childhood” session unless it’s relevant.

By the end of the first session, you should feel grounded, understood, and more oriented than when you arrived. We’ll identify clear priorities, name what’s actually driving the problem, and outline next steps so therapy doesn’t feel vague or endless. You’ll leave with a sense of where we’re going, how we’ll get there, and whether my style is the right fit for you.

Clients often say the first session feels steady, direct, and relieving—less like venting and more like finally getting a handle on things. My goal from day one is to help you stabilize, think more clearly, and start making meaningful progress right away.
