Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual (English/ Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), based in the Kern County area, working with clients around the state of California via telehealth. I have 13 years of experience working in the mental health field. I primarily support woman navigating relationship transitions, healing from past relationships, life stressors, anxiety, and identity and self worth. I also work with teens (15+ years) experiencing anxiety, life stressors, stress from school, life changes, relationship challenges, and low self-esteem. Working with me, you'll feel empowered, gain clarity, and rediscover hope, while learning practical skills to manage your emotions, navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and move forward with confidence and resiliency each day.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client centered, relaxed, and authentic, creating a safe, nonjudgemental space where you can come as you are. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and a Person-Centered Approach to help you gain insight, build practical skills, and achieve meaningful change. I focus on understanding your goals, strength, and challenges, and work collaboratively to develop strategies to fit your life. My approach is specifically helpful for individuals navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions, including teens and woman seeking empowerment and personal growth. Together we create a supportive space where you can learn coping skills, make sense of experiences, develop a more positive perspective in life, and move forward with confidence.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll take the time to get to know each other in a relaxed, non judgemental space. I'll ask questions to understand how you are feeling, what's been challenging, and what you hope to accomplish in therapy. You can expect a warm, collaborative space where you can share openly without pressure. By the end of the session, you will have a sense of what working together will look like and a starting point for moving forward toward positive change.
