Great to meet you!
I’m Debora Miranda, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the states of Florida Colorado, and Utah, dedicated to helping individuals improve their emotional well-being and overall quality of life. I view therapy as a collaborative, empowering process and aim to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, heard, and supported.
My clinical focus includes helping adults navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, grief, trauma, and relationship difficulties. I have a particular appreciation for identity development and self-esteem work, and I tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs and personal goals.
Having lived in Portugal, the U.K., and Italy before settling in the U.S., I consider myself a multiculturally competent therapist. I value the richness of diverse backgrounds and the ways culture and identity shape our lived experiences. My clients often come from a wide range of cultural, spiritual, and personal backgrounds, and I strive to honor that diversity in the therapeutic process.
As a former military spouse, I also understand the unique stressors and transitions that come with military life. My work with trauma survivors, including Holocaust survivors, has further deepened my commitment to providing compassionate, trauma-informed care.
Clients describe me as warm, grounded, and collaborative. I’m here to support you in building self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a more connected, meaningful life.
