Great to meet you!

When facing challenges and struggles, you do not need to be alone. Taking the opportunity to seek help demonstrates strength and an admirable attempt to live a more fulfilling life. I can help you discover the useful tools that lie within you to cope with life's troubles, enabling you to have the kind of life you would like to have.

I work with people in various stages of life. I am comfortable addressing anxiety, panic, ADHD, depression, mood disorders, learning disabilities, stress management, women's mental health, and reprocessing trauma.

I help my clients gain knowledge through their experience in an optimistic way in a warm, supportive, therapeutic environment. It can be very advantageous to have someone by your side who is nonjudgmental, understanding, and compassionate. I am that person.

I approach goal setting by collaborating with you to identify needs and aspirations, translating them into specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals. We regularly review and adjust these goals to ensure they remain relevant and motivating throughout your journey.

A lifelong learner best describes me. I was passionate about my work with students who had learning disabilities. I acquired the virtue of patience through that experience and learned to never give up. I continue to have that same positive attitude and celebrate personal growth and successes with my clients.

My approach to therapy

I utilize evidence-based models including Functional Family Therapy and Community Psychiatric Supports and Treatment, which are goal-directed and solution-focused. My psychotherapy is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy driven, and I have been trained in EMDR Therapy to help clients achieve their recovery goals.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, expect a focus on building rapport, acquiring an understanding of your situation, and exploring goals for therapy. We will discuss my approach, and I will answer any questions you may have.
