Great to meet you!

Change is possible, and you do not have to go through life’s challenges alone. With extensive counseling experience, including multiple years practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I help adults work through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues just to name a few by using practical effective tools. I strive to offer a warm, supportive space where you feel comfortable, understood, and able to grow. Taking that first step is not always easy, but it can lead to a more balanced and fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is supportive, collaborative, and focused on helping you build practical skills for everyday life. I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help manage intense emotions, handle stress, and strengthen relationships. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore how your thoughts, feelings, and actions connect and to develop healthier patterns. Together, we will find what works best for you and create a path forward that feels meaningful and manageable.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. We will discuss your concerns, goals, and any background information that can help guide your care. The session is a safe, confidential, and respectful space where you can share openly. It usually lasts about 60 minutes. By the end of the session with your input, a personalized treatment plan will be created that fits your goals and needs.
