Great to meet you!

My counseling experience includes co-occurring disorders, harm-reduction, emotional regulation, depression, anxiety, chronic illness, and interpersonal difficulties.

I utilize techniques from a variety of clinical approaches, including Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Cognitive, and Mindfulness.

I have worked with many different individuals and couples experiencing a wide variety of issues during my 20 plus years in practice. I use an interactive, dynamic approach which focuses on uncovering the patterns which underlie areas of dissatisfaction and difficulty, and then discovering the sources of those patterns in earlier experience and working to modify them through both insight and practice. I believe that through a non-judgmental, empathic and active therapy relationship, hope and healing can occur

My approach to therapy

Psychotherapy can provide a place to help people achieve their life goals, make life changes, move through difficult life transitions, or better understand ongoing relational concerns. My work is based on the belief that we are each influenced by a variety of factors including larger social contexts, individual family histories, and unique life experiences. An increased understanding of ourselves and the various influences on our lives can allow us to make more conscious choices and changes.

What you can expect from me

My commitment is to provide a collaborative and supportive environment to explore your life circumstances and better meet your life goals
