Devyn Beeson

Hi, I’m Devyn, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Nevada (CP5145-R) and Colorado (LPC.0017444). I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nevada, Reno, and have been practicing since 2019. I specialize in working with children, families, and adults across the lifespan, with training in EMDR, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and Integrative Attachment Family Therapy. My approach is grounded in attachment theory, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and family systems work to support healing and personal growth.

I take a warm, collaborative approach, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs. For children, I use play-based and expressive techniques to help them process emotions and develop regulation skills. For adults and families, I incorporate talk therapy, EMDR, and relational work to address trauma, life transitions, and relational challenges. My focus is on fostering autonomy, self-awareness, and meaningful connection in a safe and supportive space.

My goal is to help clients build resilience, develop emotional awareness, and strengthen relationships. Whether working through anxiety, shame, or family dynamics, I guide clients toward deeper self-understanding and practical strategies for change. I strive to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to explore, heal, and grow.
