Great to meet you!

I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, passionate about helping people find balance, healing, and peace of mind. I understand that reaching out for help can be a difficult decision, and my goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and understood. I have personal and professional experience treating substance abuse, depression, and grief, and my passion is to help those who struggle.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and holistic. I work with clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and life transitions. I believe that mental wellness involves caring for the whole person — mind, body, and spirit — and I strive to tailor treatment to fit each individual’s unique story and goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my main goal is to get to know you — not just your symptoms or struggles, but who you are as a person. We’ll talk about what brings you to care, what’s been working or not working for you, and what you hope to achieve through our time together.

I’ll take time to review your history, answer any questions, and explain what to expect from the treatment process, including therapy, medication management, or both if appropriate. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable, heard, and supported as we begin building a collaborative plan tailored to your needs.

My approach is gentle and conversational — it’s less about “assessments” and more about creating a safe space where you can speak openly and start feeling understood. By the end of our first session, you’ll have a clearer idea of next steps and what our work together will look like.
