Great to meet you!

As a therapist, I believe people are inherently good and capable of healing and growth. I specialize in trauma, particularly chronic trauma, flashbacks, and physical symptoms of trauma. I also work with severe depression, anxiety, and related challenges like low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and feelings of isolation.

My approach is warm, supportive, and grounded in deep respect for each person's journey. I have over 6 years of experience working with clients facing severe mental health issues, especially those with long-term trauma histories.

I hold a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision, as well as a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is practical, collaborative, and focused on short-term, meaningful change. I use evidence-based techniques to help clients better understand, affirm, and accept themselves.

I draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), especially the principle of radical acceptance, and place a strong emphasis on self-compassion and unconditional positive regard. I believe healing starts when we stop judging ourselves and start meeting our pain with empathy and curiosity.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and, most importantly, focus on your goals. We’ll talk about what life looks like right now with the challenge you’re facing—and imagine what life could look like without it.

Together, we’ll create a clear vision of the future you want and begin to set concrete, achievable goals to help you move forward. This first session is about building trust, gaining clarity, and setting the foundation for positive change.
