Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. My name is Dionne Fontenelle, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with experience helping individuals navigate mental health challenges, substance use concerns, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from North Central University and bring over 17 years of clinical experience from my previous career as a Speech-Language Pathologist, where I specialized in assessment, treatment planning, and collaborative care.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe that every person has unique strengths and experiences that deserve to be understood within the context of their relationships, environment, and personal history. I work with clients to identify patterns that may be contributing to distress, develop practical coping strategies, and build on existing strengths to create meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and co-occurring mental health concerns. I am trained in EMDR and incorporate evidence-based approaches to help clients process difficult experiences, reduce symptoms, and improve overall functioning. My clinical experience includes conducting comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning across various levels of care.

My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered. Together, we work toward increasing self-awareness, improving emotional well-being, strengthening relationships, and creating sustainable solutions that align with each client's values and goals. Whether you are seeking support during a difficult time or working toward long-term personal growth, I am committed to helping you move forward with confidence and hope.
