Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Miami, Florida, with experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families. I specialize in trauma-informed care and have worked extensively with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, OCD, ADHD, and complex trauma. My background includes school-based therapy, outpatient therapy, and community-based work, including supporting youth impacted by trauma and human trafficking, as well as previously incarcerated adults transitioning back into their communities. I earned my Master of Social Work from Florida International University and have been working in the mental health field since 2016.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. I believe in creating a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves while also being gently challenged to grow. I integrate evidence-based practices like CBT, TF-CBT, and CPT, while also focusing heavily on psychoeducation so you can better understand how your thoughts, emotions, past experiences, and relationships all connect. I work a lot on improving communication, identifying patterns, and understanding how trauma and family dynamics show up in your daily life. Clients often appreciate that I “keep it real” while still being supportive—I’m here to help you gain insight, build skills, and actually apply what we talk about outside of sessions.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where we focus on getting to know you and what’s bringing you in. I’ll ask questions to understand your background, current challenges, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once—we go at your pace. We’ll begin identifying goals and start making connections between your experiences, thoughts, and behaviors. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of direction for what we’ll be working toward together.
