Donna Hendricks-Marx is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 35 years of experience as a psychotherapist. Most of that time has been spent in private practice with an emphasis on adult individual and couple therapy. Her style is direct and goal-oriented while providing a nonjudgmental place for change and healing.
She has often worked as an expert in the field of trauma and brings a skill set unique to those areas including Instinctual Trauma Response and EMDR. She also utilizes meditation and hypnotherapy to assist in developing tools to use for anxiety and depression as well as healing the inner child and understanding internal family systems.
She is excited to be expanding her practice from South Florida to the Tampa area. It is with a particular sense of pride and excitement that she will be joined by her son and daughter in the development of their Authentic Therapy Center. The goal is to supply a wide range of therapeutic modalities in a warm and safe environment.
