Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) degree specializing in trauma-informed care and holistic emotional wellness. With over fifteen years of experience in medical and mental health settings, I have worked with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My counseling approach integrates evidence-based therapeutic practices with Christian principles to support healing of the mind, body, and spirit. I am passionate about creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow in both emotional wellness and spiritual strength. My goal is to help clients develop practical coping strategies, deepen their faith, and move toward lasting healing, purpose, and restoration.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed, with a focus on helping clients feel emotionally safe, heard, and empowered throughout the healing process. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused interventions while also incorporating Christian counseling principles for my clients. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions, helping them develop healthier coping strategies and deeper self-awareness. I believe healing happens when clients are able to process their experiences without judgment while building resilience, emotional balance, and spiritual wellness. My goal is to support each client in identifying their strengths, overcoming barriers, and creating meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to be a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free space where they can openly discuss their concerns, goals, and experiences at their own pace. During the initial session, I focus on building rapport, understanding the client’s emotional, mental, and spiritual needs, and gathering background information that will help guide the therapeutic process. Together, we will identify treatment goals, explore current challenges, and discuss practical strategies for support and growth. I strive to create an environment that is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed so clients feel safe, respected, and empowered throughout the counseling journey. Clients can also expect to leave the session with greater clarity, initial coping tools, and a personalized plan for moving forward toward healing and wellness
