Great to meet you!

My hope is to walk alongside you throughout this journey of progress and development to achieve your goals and aspirations. I believe in you and your journey to success; whether through mountains, valleys, or flats. I'm here to utilize my training, your motivation, and our collaboration to create the change you want to see within yourself and your life.

I enjoy working with teens, couples & families, especially in the BIPOC community. I use a variety of types of therapy including CBT, trauma informed CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based therapies.. I have experience in multiple disciplines of therapy including Substance Abuse, Inpatient Therapy, Community Therapy, Crisis Treatment, Talk therapy, Family counseling, Parenting Support, and more. I utilize a client centered approach to therapy, integrating clients needs and motivation with my therapeutic skills and expertise to achieve goals and create desired progress.

My approach to therapy

The foundation of my approach is laid in validation, change, accountability, & acceptance. I believe that through exploration, processing, and a comforting level of confrontation one can create the personal development and progress clients seek. Utilizing these elements, I strive to provide a person focused approach that is beneficial and effective to all goals and diagnosis.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect an intentional conversation centered entirely on you; your story, your needs, and the beginnings of a space where you feel safe and understood. We'll explore your history, family, symptoms, and goals, while also taking the time to build genuine rapport and establish the boundaries of your therapeutic space. We'll both do some learning: I'll learn what makes your journey unique, and you'll get a feel for how we work together. That first session is where we lay the foundation for your progress, and for our relationship.
