Well, my passion is what sets me apart from other psychotherapists.

My Registered Intern Supervisor, Shirley Hawkesworth once said to me, “You have the give a darn factor”.

I’ve been able to thrive as a professional due to my passion, competitiveness and because I give a darn.

We will work but we will also laugh, joke and smile.....because I’ve been told that I’m actually pretty funny. We will do some heavy lifting but we will also crack a few smiles and jokes along the way, lol.

When I first entered the mental health field, I began to realize to treat the symptoms, first I had to look at the client through the lens of what had led my client to begin showing these actual symptoms. Once I approached my client from this angle; that’s when I began to focus on the underlying challenges my clients were having with anger management, trauma, anxiety, substance abuse and depression.
