Great to meet you!

I hold a Master's in Social Work and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience working with clients across all age ranges. My path to therapy has been shaped by a deep commitment to helping others navigate life's challenges, which has always been at the core of who I am.

Before becoming a therapist, I've walked many different paths - from construction sites to restaurant kitchens, from farms to schools - and these diverse experiences have given me a genuine appreciation for the varied backgrounds and perspectives my clients bring.

I specialize in working with ADHD, men's issues, LGBTQIA+ concerns, and anxiety, while also having extensive experience supporting those dealing with video game addiction, caregivers, codependency, and anger management. I work with both individuals (insurance accepted) and couples (cash pay only) in my private practice.

When I'm not in session, you'll find me outdoors gardening, baking something new in the kitchen, or exploring nature. I'm passionate about the power of strong communities and believe deeply in the strength that comes from genuine human connection and support.

My approach to therapy

My approach is highly person-centered and collaborative. I believe you are the expert on your own life, so I let you guide our sessions and decide what we'll explore together. Rather than dictating the direction, I work alongside you to understand how we can best collaborate to work through whatever you're facing.

In our first few sessions, I focus on building genuine rapport through conversations about your background, interests, concerns, and what matters most to you. We'll discuss your goals and values in a relaxed, conversational way. I draw from various evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed approaches, always tailoring my methods to what works best for you. I'm also trained in a trauma therapy called Accelerated Resolution Therapy which helps adults recover quickly for traumatic or disturbing events they've experienced.

I take a collaborative approach to the entire therapeutic journey, including when it's time to step back from regular sessions. I believe therapy is never truly "over" - it just varies in how often it's needed as you grow and face new life chapters.

What you can expect from me

Working with me, you can expect to develop practical, positive coping skills that actually work in your daily life. You'll gain fresh perspectives on challenges that may have felt overwhelming or unchanging. Most importantly, you'll build renewed confidence - not just to face difficulties, but to truly understand and identify them before they become unmanageable.

My goal is to empower you with tools and insights that extend far beyond our sessions together, helping you approach life's ups and downs with greater self-awareness, resilience, and hope.
