Elizabeth Brocato

Greetings! I've had the privilege of working in the mental health field for over 20 years with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of treatment settings. I have obtained my Bachelor's degree in Human Development from Virginia Tech; my Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and a 3 year post graduate training program from the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. I could not ask for a more rewarding career!

As a clinician, it is truly an honor to be part of peoples' lives in the most meaningful way. I am well aware that the therapeutic process can be healing and challenging as you are looking more closely at your emotional needs, thoughts, reactions, relationships, and struggles. Therefore, I highly value creating a space that feels safe and non-judgmental, as you are bringing in personal and intimate details of your life. My approach is supportive, integrative and tailored to your unique needs.

Therapy is first and foremost a relationship to me. Within that relationship I aim to build trust, learn about your inner world, and develop tools to navigate the many of life's challenges.
